1/4/2023 0 Comments Red ball 3 level 19![]() ![]() The feedback has once again been very positive. “Our team of All Stars really immersed themselves in the experience outside of the matches, joining local kids on court for the Red Ball Challenge and taking part in a variety of tourism activities. “The Tennis SA State League All Stars event in the Riverland has been a great success and we are pleased to congratulate Team Red on their first All Stars victory,” Tennis SA Head of Tournaments, Competitions and Officiating Dylan Hicks said. ![]() ![]() “It’s been really nice to be in the Riverland, it’s lovely up here, great views and great place. “I loved meeting all of the kids at the Red Ball Challenge, getting them involved on court and hopefully inspiring them to continue playing tennis as well. “It’s exciting to get the win under our belt after last year, playing some really competitive matches against some great people,” Tennis SA State League All Star champion Cydney Crumbie said. Players also joined local juniors on court for the Red Ball Challenge and took part in tourism activities including exploring the Murray River with Renmark River Cruises and a visit to Caudo Vineyard for lunch. The state’s highest level competition visited regional South Australia for the second time, with eight Tennis SA State League players joining eight local tennis players to create Team Red and Team Blue.Īfter Team Blue won the inaugural event on the Eyre Peninsula in 2021, Team Red levelled the record claiming a seven rubbers to three victory in 2022. Tennis SA, in conjunction with the Renmark Paringa Council and Riverland Tennis Association, hosted the event in Renmark on Saturday 8 October. The 2022-23 Tennis SA State League season has been officially launched by the Tennis SA State League All Stars in the Riverland. ![]()
